On Friday March 25th, SoFree performed a song she wrote entitled "Hands on Me". This song was unfortunately written about events in her life as well as some brave women that she knows personally. This song was posted online to spread awareness about Domestic Violence and within 15 hours of posting she was offered a performance opportunity in which she gladly accepted. She has already touched the hearts of many with the powerful yet melancholy lyrics. "That song touched my heart, and I didn't even know I had one" said a fan after hearing the song for the first time. The song was performed for a Local Music Benefit for a non-profit organization in North Carolina called Interact. Interact provides assistance and safety to victims of domestic violence and rape. SoFree was honored to perform for this event.
